Firework Night!

I was thinking of blogging tomorrow but I saw a spectacular scene that made me wanna blog early. It is ... Fireworks.!

I can see your eyes going o.O? What's so great about fireworks? We have them during National Day Parade every year. Ha! You are wrong! The fireworks they release here is so spectacular that those at home in Singapore can't even compare.

I only came to know about this night being Firework Night because I went outside to bring in my clothing. Sure, I heard the “Bam Bam Bam” noise but then, in Bangkok, they are nothing unusual. Obviously, the fireworks are released to commemorate the King’s 80^th Birthday tomorrow.

The fireworks in Bangkok varies patterns and designs that fireworks in Singapore's lack. Smiling faces, fireflies, so many different patterns that other than video taping, all I can do is stand and watch in awe. What I’ve taped happened to be just a little of the entire scene. No kidding!

As I watch the display, A particular verse was running through my mind:

“The finest rockets ever seen:
they burst in stars of blue and green,
or after thunder golden showers
came falling like a rain of flowers.”

Anyone care to tell me where this verse came from? Those who know me well may be able to guess. ^^ Yep, they come from Lord of the Ring: the Fellowship of the Ring. Hey, I’m a LOTR fanatic :P. The above verse comes from Gandalf’s lament. BOOK version, not movie version.

I guess there's gonna be another firework display tomorrow since it's the King's Birthday. So yeah, so gonna stay tune to watch. ^^
