I've been missing for a long while. Schoolwork kept piling up now. I guess that can't be helped. We are coming close to the end of the term as it is. And precisely because we're coming close to the end of term, all the project deadline starts to appear on the horizon, speeding closer and closer each day.
The one project that got me going all jittery is the OB (Organizational Behaviour) Group Project. Why? Because it's a GROUP Project. To all those who thinks that group project are easier because of a division in workload, think again. The coordination of duties, the standardisation of work and the difference in work styles is enough to drive me up the wall and over it.
It's precisely because of this that I prefer individual projects... Imagine having to coordinate with so many people and leaving your grades in their hands... The thought is enough to make me sweat.
Oh, Let's NOT get me started on members who are slackers and never even attempted to contribute, or worse, the 'Yakkers' who only knows how to criticise and points out what they wants to see done BUT not contribute anything at all... Not contributing anything but noise pollution, that is.
All uni students out there should know what I'm talking about.
It's not that I've really got bad team mates, especially when compared to SH's. On the contrary, they're nice people. It's just that... Alright, there are 6 of us. 3 of us are OK. The other 2 are willing to work but the quality of the work is not there. 1 is just a plain old Yakker.
Please don't let me be stuck with him for next semester's project too...
Anyway, project is nearing completion soon and finally, I can rest. I've been 'running a marathon' (metaphorically speaking) for this project since start of March and 'sprinting' since 3 days ago.
I'm bushed... I need a break... a few more hours... Just a few more hours and one down...
My bed never looked so inviting before...
