3rd day at work... Boring...

Right now I’m in my office and using a desk that belongs to a friend still on holiday. Alyssa was on sick leave today. Sobz… No one to accompany me in the office and ask questions from. Haha, I’m not supposed to blog but, what the company doesn’t know, can’t hurt them, right? :P

Haiz. Mr L still had not applied for my staff card. In addition, my lab training can only start tomorrow since the China students, who are supposed to train me, just completed an overnight experiment and had gone home to sleep. In other words, I have nothing to do again.

It’s not that I don’t mind doing nothing. It’s just … boring. I certainly don’t mind work especially since I agree to be paid for WORKING. Anyway, yesterday was my 2nd day at work and unlike the 1st day where I was fretting about what to do. Yesterday, I was fretting about nothing to do. I was counting down the time, surfing internet discreetly, going toilet breaks, and even SMS-ing SH to pass the time. Suffice to say, yesterday was such a boring day I went home behaving exactly like a zombie.

Ah well, maybe I should listen to Alyssa and just relax and enjoy my free time while I still had it. Thank god I arrange a meeting with a sales engineer later in the afternoon to check out suitable equipment for the lab. As a general rule, TSOs don’t usually meet with a sales engineer unless during term break when they have more time. However, I feel this is a good learning opportunity to learn how to preach for sales as well as to update myself on the latest science equipment around. *coughwannapasstimecough*

Boring. AND MY PC DOESN’T HAVE MSN. SOBZ. It's 10am now as I type this. 2 hours to lunchtime… Countdown START!
