Yes ladies & gentlemen, you saw it right! I cut my hair! And it's short! For the first time in my whole 20 yrs life, I have short hair! I had it done at KR+ where they had a promotion for a haircut + multishading for 180SGD. Since it's kinda worth it, why not?
The hair cut was good, but the coloring leaves damn much to be desired... I was supposed to have a blue-black base (The color bruises turn into) with red highlights. That damn colorist did it without much care and was doing her own hair in the meantime. Talk about professionalism. This is the kind of service you expect from a top hair salon?
When the hair coloring was done, I saw only a little bit of red highlights. For the base, I saw the black color but where's the blue?
SH accompanied me there and she heard the colorist asked Mr. Hairstylist almost as if she wanted him to confirm her lie, "It's blue, right?"
... The hell? So when we asked them about it, they tried to cover up their mistake by saying that yes, they saw the blue in the midst of the black base when it's obvious as hell SH and I didn't see any at all. Since my package was one on promotion, I didn't argue. But for a hair salon of such high reputation, I had thought they had more professionalism...
Nevertheless, I now resembled the girl char from one of my fave manga, Busou Renkin. Her name was Tsumura Tokiko... Check out her pic... See the blue haired girl with the scar across her face? I have the exact same hairstyle... Or rather, same haircut since it's obvious as hell I don't have the same hair color. Hehe, I still remember my expression when i saw the haircut. I had immediately exclaimed, " OMG! I'm Tokiko #2!"
On another note... Ladies and gentlemen, I'm proud to say that I've finally learnt cycling! YES, it's at the age of 20 when I should have learnt it younger but hey, I learnt it in 3 hrs. Top that! Granted I'm still a little shaky at it, especially at turning but still... I can make it...
Poor Shi Hui, In order to help me, I think she substained some bruises and scares. I nearly rammed the bike into her a few times. It was a mountain bike, by the way. SH told me that beginners in cycling shouldn't start with mountain bikes since they are less stable and harder to control. But hey, take what we got and use it, right? I don't have a bicycle and SH's normal bicycle has yet to be repaired.
Nevertheless, I managed to be able to cycle all thanks to SH. In the process of learning, I manage to crack 1 wall and scratch 1 wall. Go me! And let's not forget the injuries substained. I had 3 spectacular bruises on my thighs; 1 large one and multiple smaller ones on my calves. Let's not forget I had to sit on the saddle for 3 grueling hrs and the saddle is NOT soft by any means. You can crack a stone on it. My ass is going to kill me tomorrow.
Heheh, I really like cycling now that I have gotten the hang of it. The sense of freedom and thrill of speed-cycling are really addictive. If i ever master cycling soon, Gonna ask my mum to get me a mountain bike for my birthday! ^^
