Ah… Tadaima! I’m Home! Finally after 5 months in Thailand… It seems like my life in Thailand ended… Still… Despite having a great time there, An incident happened with the freaking immigration authorities that left me freakin' pissed…

I came back once for my grandma’s funeral… And when I came back, the officer gave me a deadline till 10 Jan… I checked with the HR personnel in charge of those of us in Thailand. She in turn checked with the Immgration Bureau. She confirmed that it was a multi-pass visa and hence, no worries.

But when I was at the Customs, The damn officers told me that I’ve overstayed and hence have to pay 7,500 baht. WHERE THE HELL DO YOU EXPECT A STUDENT TO FIND THAT UNGODLY SUM OF MONEY?? Add in a student who is BROKE. I can’t call my cousin, coz my plane’s leaving in 45 mins and he can’t make it in time. If not for my mentor, who kindly loaned me 7,500 baht. I don’t think I can be safely in my own country today.

I sat steaming in the plane about this incident. I mean come on, the officers confirmed that it’s OK. And now, they’re turning around and singing a different tune. In addition, my mentor told me that the male immigration officer is not happy with me. Well, Mr Officer, SAME HERE! WHAT IN YOUR FREAKIN’-LY TINY EXCUSE OF A BRAIN MAKES YOU THINK I’M HAPPY? In addition, I’M THE VICTIM HERE!!!

I was so pissed. What a Freakin' bad ending to such a good stay…. But now that the anger’s over. I still had a great time in Thailand. And met kind souls, that’s for certain. Eg: my mentor.

Shi Shou, Thanks for lending me cash. If not, I’ll be stranded in Thailand. I will try to return you the cash ASAP. Thanks for everything really. I won’t let all the bad things tarnish my view of Thailand.

In addition, the plane ride was fun. I was playing with Jet (my doggie cushion) and Cheryl was playing with hers, whom she named Duckie. In the end, Jet and Duckie had a fight with each other, creating a epic battle that require the Air stewardess to break up and got injured in the process. :P

Back tracking though, Thurday was a pretty sad day for me. I took a tour around the lab where I’ve worked for the past 5 months, and hung around with Kant and everyone else. After saying my goodbyes and leaving lab, I took my last motorbike taxi ride and midway, it started drizzling. Now that’s strange, Bangkok seldom had rain. Me and Am went for a last movie together – Enchanted - and we also had a neoprint together.

The movie was fun. More so because we are determine to make it as nice as possible. When it came to the climax where the male and female lead had to kiss each other, Me and Am held on tightly to each other’s hands, eagerly anticipating the kiss. I mean, yeah, we do know that movies like this definitely had a happy ending together, but well, we wanted to make it as exciting as possible. We both did a small victory dance together in our seats when the male lead kissed the female lead and she woke up. Hooray!

When the movie ended, it was pretty sad. Not because the movie was so good. But because both me and Am knew that we have to separate now. I have to pack my stuff and she has to go back. It was sad.

Haiz… Still… Now that I’m back in Singapore, time to see old friends and family. ^^
