Never drink Green Tea with Diet Coke

I survived today, way better than I thought I would. And I decided to celebrate by drinking green tea and diet coke simultaneously. Don’t ask why. I myself am still wondering why on earth did I do that.

I didn’t mix them together to drink but separately, as evident when I said SIMULTANEOUSLY. Did I mention that it’s not Pokka Green Tea but the true blue (green?) organic green tea?

So when the after taste of the diet coke mixes with the green tea, the end result was:

The taste absolutely sucks like a tornado rated F6 on the F-Scale.

Not only that, apparently Green Tea and Diet Coke decided on their first “mix” together in my stomach that they are to become enemies.

And so, they waged war against one another in my tummy. I can literally feel the opposing forces of Diet Coke and Green Tea tumbling around having a martial arts tournament (or whatever competition they decide to hold to settle it out).

Thank god my lunch's serving as a referee. If not, I can almost guarantee another gastritis and I'll rather die than to suffer that.
