It's Official...

It’s offical. I’m not going to Japan this December. With the economic recession, SGD dropped from SGD 1 – JPY 75 (+-) to SGD 1 – JPY 65 (+-). Horrors, what a tremendous drop…

Hence, the decision not to go was made by me & SH. If we were to go now, we will definitely lose out a lot.

Damnit, I was so looking forward to go Japan and enjoy myself. I even read up on the type of Japanese food that can’t be found in Singapore and the historical sites (I’m a sucker for history) that I can visit in Japan. The Castles, the temples, the scenery… They interest me more than the shopping that can be found in Japan.

But oh well, look on the bright side of life, if I don’t go this December, it means I can slowly save up more money. In addition, I can fully concentrate on working on the arrival of the 2 rigs, Capella & Eminence.

But still… T_T More waiting time… I sure as hell couldn’t help feeling bitterly disappointed. Damn this stupid recession… It couldn’t have come at a worst time… Haiz… We definitely can’t go Japan this December unless we win some kind of all expenses paid trip to Japan or something, and this is likely when Hell freezes over…
