It's day 3, ladies and gentlemen. I have survived without killing any of the kids. It's a miracle!
Here's an update on my progress:
1) I have memorised most of the students' name, especially those in the Pri 3 level, which is the class i'm taking over. I.e: I'm their 'form teacher' so to speak.
But I can't seem to differentiate between 2 students of mine: YC and KS. They look almost the same it's scary. I can't tell the difference unless they're standing together. YC is taller and leaner while KS is rounder. Both possess the same sweet honey smile and twinkle in the eyes that can cause a lady to die of heart attack. I didn't though. I'm too engrossed with telling them apart.
Nevertheless, I can forsee that they will be future heart throbs.
2) I started to take over the english tuition from pri 1 to pri 3. It's an irony, isn't it? Considering my specialty is Science.
3) I have to teach them chinese spelling. Now this is the piece of news that will make you guys go "what the hell?!" I understand perfectly. I had that same reaction when i heard this piece of news. Gosh, I failed my chinese in Secondary school and barely scrapped by with a Merit in Chinese B.
At least, this means that I can improve on my foundation in Chinese. It's not that bad. We have a professional chinese tutor.
That's all, folks.
