New temp~!

A new temp came today. Her name is YL and she was a graduate of VJC (Vict Jr College), making her 2 years my junior and a rival for my enrollment for university.

E was supposed to be her mentor but because Ms Newbie sat next to me far away from E, i was asked by E to keep an eye on her. Being helped by E many times before, of course i agreed to help her keep an eye on the newbie.

But said newbie drove me nuts! Seriously. E taught her only the bare basics because it'll be impossible for the newbie to remember everything at one go. So it's not the newbie's fault that she doesn't know a lot. Hence, i have to help her out, reasons being we're both temps and i'm sitting next to her. The problem is, she's asking at the wrong time when i'm most busy.

Her foundations isn't strong at all yet and she's asking me to teach her to make delivery orders and all.

What pisses me off the most is that she refused to ask D (who's sitting at counter 5 while i'm at 7 and newbie's at 6) even when D's free~!

What the hell?~!

I TOLD her! "Hey YL, u can actually ask D because she'll be more than happy to help you. I can be quite busy and if i am, you can ask her."

And you know what excuses she gave?

"har~~ I don't want to... I mean, there's a barrier between us. And futhermore, we're both temps and it's easier to ask you~!"

"barrier?" language barrier, perhaps? i know D prefers speaking chinese while newbie prefers speaking english.

"The printer." What. The. Hell?

I was so frustrated that i told D about this and begged D to help me keep an eye on her. I had to help her and it's affecting my work.

Damn it.

She's so... dependent...

When she asked me for my handphone number that night, i skirted the issue. She asked dawn who happily gave her. Taking the chance to flee, i fled. No way am i going to give her my cellphone number.
