Monday Matinee

i know i'm not supposed to find this hilarious, especially since i was the targeted DSR out of everyone else. But somehow, i can't help it. Really.

The situation goes like this:

I had just finished serving one customer when this PRC came to my counter.

"Excuseme.ineedyourhelp." Before i could even reply, she started firing like a sub atomic machine gun. "EverymonthyourcompanysendsmeG3(a health product).Icalledupandsaidnoididn'twantit.Evenwhenishiftedhouse,youcontinuedtosendme!
IalreadycalledupandsaidNO.Butyoupeoplestillcontinuetosendtheproductstomyplace.Youcan't
dothis!Doyoubelievei'llcallupthemediaandtellthemaboutthis?GiveNSabadname!
Let'sseewho'sbiggerthen!"

I know this was not supposed to be funny but at that moment, i had to bite my lip to rein in my laughter. Said lady was so agitated she was speaking faster than a machine gun and waving her hands so frantically like she's conducting an ochestra playing a fast melody. Add her long dangling earrings swinging wildly around to the "music" of her ranting and the movements of her hands. Well, you get the picture...

She could provide entertainment on a saturday night variety. No kidding.

But she was verrrrryy angry, if the number of veins happily trobbing on her forehead and neck are any indication. As a DSR, it is my duty to help her. And I don't think laughing is going to help the situation here. She's already threatening to report to the media here! If i let out any hint of laughter (My mouth's betraying me, shoot!), She could fire my ass by calling up the president or something.

"Mdm, tell you what, can you give me your name and your ID?"I said calmly and as soothingly as i could. A great feat, really! I'succeeded in controlling my facial muscles here! "I'll ask my senior regarding this matter."

No need, PL is already behind me listening to the whole conversation. Hearing a cue to intercede, she dashed in heroically to save me from a potential death (by laughter, but i didn't tell her that. No Sir!)

And Hence, I let her handle the Lady (should i call her that? considering she's being so unlady-like here) and her daughter. A Pity, coz i kinda think they(she) provide an exciting entertainment on an otherwise boring Monday afternoon...

Haiz...
